More about Bill In the three years I have been with Change Corporation, I have made the transition from Senior Developer with few management responsibilities, to Project Manager and Solution Architect, to Knowledge Team Leader. My primary client is Fortron Insurance Group. Based on the latest Microsoft technologies and best practice across a broad range of technology areas, the project team has delivered a series of systems arranged in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to support a number of business functions, including sales, policy administration, commissions management and finance. I have also worked on projects for Quickflix, Snowball, Snap Franchising Limited and My Planet.
Fortron has definitely been one of my most challenging and rewarding projects to date. Both the business and technology challenges were daunting. From the business perspective, we faced a journey of learning an extremely complex and poorly understood business rules and processes. From the technology perspective, we had the challenge of designing a system capable of supporting such complexity. Meeting these challenges has been a long, but rewarding road. The solution delivered to date meets all the agreed requirements and has made substantial changes to the way in which Fortron does business, opened up new opportunities for them, and greatly improved their efficiency.
